Pumpkin Pie

First, make the crust:
  1. Mix 2 cups whole wheat flour, 1 stick butter (8 tbsp or ½ cup), ¼ cup sugar, ¼ cup milk (or dash of milk until dough soft enough), 1 egg. 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla extract. Knead well into a dough.
  2. Oil spray the baking pan and lay it with thin layer of the dough.
  3. Bake for 10 min at 350F in convention oven.
Second, make the pumpkin paste:
  1. Steam the pumpkin until soft.
  2. Purée in food processor.
  3. For 1 quart of pumpkin puree, add 3 eggs, 2 tbsp corn starch, ½ cup sugar, ¼ cup oil, ½ tsp cinnamon, ¼ tsp nutmeg, ¼ tsp allspice.
Third, make the pie:
  1. Pour the purée into the pie crust.
  2. Bake for 40 minutes at 400F or until fully cooked.
